This painting was created in Infinite Painter using the watercolor brushes and ink pens on my Note Pro 12.2.
Traditional and Digital Artist
"Easter Sunrise"
I have recently run across the daily painting movement in art and I like the idea of it, but I thought I would adapt it to digital painting. The idea is to paint simple small paintings for an hour a day and then sell them. I was thinking of using digital painting programs to make quick simple paintings and if some are good, sell them at my print on demand websites. However, I will probably have to use Photozoom Pro 6 to adjust the resolution for printing. I painted this Easter painting yesterday in Infinite Painter on my Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2. Hello and welcome to my Weebly blog. On this blog I will be discussing how to paint traditionally the digital way. What does that mean? It means that I like to use digital painting programs that mimic traditional media. I will also discuss how I use these programs to create traditional looking paintings.

AuthorHello, my name is Ellie Taylor and I am an artist. I live on a ranch in New Mexico. I paint in acrylic, pastel, charcoal, and digital. I try to do all subjects: landscapes, portraits, animals, still life, western scenes, religious scenes and whatever I can think of or someone requests. My personal philosophy is there are no limits to what you can do in painting. You are only limited by your mind and imagination. If you think you can, then you can, if you think you can’t, then you can’t. There is no subject too hard to paint, just persevere until you get it finished. Archives |
